The Thedore Wirth Platoon of
Professional Snowboard Instructors

First Lieutenant Hurst leads the snowboard industry with 23 years of seniority. Mr. Hurst is the education staff administrator for AASI Central Division and Theodore Wirth Park. Training the entire staff is his priority job #1.

Mr. Hurst is the reason our program offers the best snowboard lesson in the twin cities. He also has a double master in education.

I'm the stylish one of the group. I know what you're asking yourself, and the answer is yes, I do have a nickname for my snowboard. It's called "the Octagon", but I also named my boots. My left one is James Westfall and my right one is Doctor Kenneth Noisewater. You ladies play your cards right, and you just might get to meet the whole gang. I am in my second year of college at the University of St. Thomas, and I'm majoring in mechanical engineering, and minoring in Aerospace studies.
One might guess from my picture that I'm a "special" person. Well that assumption is absolutely true as long as when you think special what you actually mean is totally freakin' sweet! I've been boarding for 6 seasons now and I'm really hoping to rack up some skills on the hips and rails this season. I'm a junior at the University of St. Thomas majoring in mechanical engineering and minoring in being totally freakin' sweet. See you on the hills!

I am twenty years old and a junior, mechanical engineering major at the University of St.Thomas. I am originally from Waconia, Minnesota, but now live in St.Paul. I have been riding for eight years and have made several trips out west to Montana and Colorado. My favorite trick is a swich 270 to frontside board on a flat box.

I'm Bruno, and some refer to me as the ninja...take a lesson or meet me and you will find out why. I enjoy cold places for vacation with cliff drops for fun. My specialty is teaching people how to do rails, jumps and boxes. I'm going to school to get a business degree and will finish next fall.

Corporal Thomson is studying aerospace engineering with a spanish minor at St. Thomas University. His favorite trick has to be any kind of 900 (frontside, backside, switch frontside or switch backside) or a Rocket air off of a kicker, but if it is a rail then switch 180 in to deathstar (270).

Hi. I'm Kylie. I have blonde hair and a red jacket. I like airplanes and hi-fives. I was born in Minnesota. I go to Bethel. I'm a sophmore and pack my own lunches. I'm majoring in art and physics. I have 1 friend and play soccer and snowboarding.
Who stole my hot cocoa... I hope it wasn't you, because you should never take a mans hot cocoa. I like teaching little kids mostly because we just mess around, we don't actually snowboard or anything. In my spare time when I man the tow booth, I enjoy doing the ROBOT when nobody's looking.
This picture was taken just minutes after I killed a bear with a stick. I am a very rugged outdoorsman. I am a man that loves to spend weeks in the wood without the luxury of carbon highbacks and long walks in the park. I graduated from a college that has raised tuition 75% since I have been out. I consider myself lucky in that aspect. You will meet me holding up the front counter on Saturdays at Wirth Park.
